Chris Hall has been a working cinematographer in Los Angeles since 2006; credited with more than 14 short films, 4 music videos, a feature documentary, and numerous broadcast and web credits. Chris graduated from North Park University in Chicago, with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Theatre in 2001. Upon graduating he was accepted into the Masters Production Program at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. While at USC, Chris worked as the teaching assistant in the university's Advanced Cinematography Class where he advised students under the tutelage of professor and cinematographer Earl Rath ASC. After completing his Master's degree in 2007 and beginning work as a freelance DP, Chris also founded Basher Films, a small boutique production company, to run parallel with his cinematography career. Basher Films has shot, edited, and produced short form content for numerous clients including CNN and Alice Waters' Slow Food Nation. Currently, Chris resides in Pasadena, California with his wife Rachel.
